The Cumulus 250 down-filled quilt is a lighter, smaller-pack size alternative to a sleeping bag, designed to work with a sleeping mat (not included) – an obvious benefit for travelling cyclists looking to carry less / lightweight kit on cycle tours and bikepacking trips.
When paired with a good quality sleeping mat, the Cumulus 250 Quilt is comparable to a sleeping bag with a comfort temperature rating of around 4oC. To keep the quilt in place are a pair of elasticated draw cords that fit around the mattress – meaning heat won’t escape throughout the night. Packing down to 18 x 14 cm, this quilt is comfortable through spring, summer and mid-autumn.
Quilts are an excellent alternative to bulkier sleeping bags, if you carry a good sleeping mat and, for cooler climes, a warm off-the-bike jacket & hat.
The quilt comes with stuff sack for packing when travelling, and a storage sack for storing when back at home (store unpacked).
